JULIUS WATKINS FESTIVAL - Seattle, October 2009
I'm honoured and excited to be giving a presentation at the 6th Julius Watkins Jazz French Horn Festival on October 3rd 2009. This will be a gathering of Jazz French Horn players from around the world, in a celebration of the life and music of Jazz Horn pioneer Julius Watkins. The festival is being put together by Tom Varner, and other artists appearing include John Clark, Vincent Chancey, Adam Unsworth, Dr Patrick Smith, Dr Jeffrey Snedeker, Lydia Van Dreel, Fred Johannesen, Mike Simpson, Eyvind Andreassen and David Kappy.
On 11th March 2010 The Monday Club will be performing at Colbourne Ave, Sydney.
INTERNATIONAL HORN SYMPOSIUM - Brisbane, Australia. July 2010
In July 2010 I will be presenting an improvisation workshop as part of the 42nd International Horn Symposium in Brisbane, Australia. I will also be performing some original compositions as part of the festival.
